TERMS OF PAYMENT        

On-line payments can be made with Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

ORDER CHANGE/CANCELLATION

On-line items may be changed or cancelled within 2 business days (by close of business day 4:00 Central Standard Time) from date of order placement with no penalty by calling Richards-Wilcox Customer Service.  After that deadline there is a 5% cancellation fee.

SHIPMENT

Free shipping is available on purchases of $250 or more to any location within the 48 contiguous United States.    Richards-Wilcox Hardware ships UPS Ground.  Second Day or Next Day air service is available for an additional charge by selecting this option on the web cart or by calling Richards-Wilcox Customer Service, 800-253-5668.

Completed orders shipping UPS ground typically take between 3-5 days for receipt.  Richards-Wilcox is not responsible for shipping delays or any ancillary fees or contractor expenses due to shipping delays.

SHIPMENT INSPECTION

After receiving your order, check the packing list for complete components and installation instructions.  Copies of installation instructions can be downloaded here.  If your order is missing a component, contact Customer Service within 48 hours, 800-253-5668.

30 DAY RETURN POLICY

Returns of Richards Wilcox hardware must be made within 30 days of receipt of material.  Contact Richards-Wilcox Customer Service Department, by phone, 800-253-5668, or in writing:    email - customerservice@richardswilcox.com, to return goods Credit will be given on returned material only after receipt by Richards-Wilcox.  The original invoice must accompany all returned material.  Credit for all authorized returns is subject to a 25% restocking charge. 

HARDWARE PRODUCTS WARRANTY

Richards-Wilcox Hardware Products are warranted to be of good quality, and free from defects in material and workmanship under normal intended use for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase. If any hardware, or part thereof, is determined by Richards-Wilcox not to be as warranted, Richards-Wilcox will at its option and without charge, replace the defective part or parts.

Under no circumstances shall Richards-Wilcox be liable for indirect or consequential damages of any kind. These warranties are in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose.  

The warranties cover Richards-Wilcox hardware.  We shall not be liable, nor do we assume responsibility for damage or operational failures caused by supporting and/or surround structure and/or equipment, overloading of the product beyond our rated capacity, improper use or application beyond the manufacturer’s intended or recommended use, or other external causes such as abuse or acts of God and other causes beyond our control.  Maintenance and adjustments are the responsibility of the owner.  This guarantee does not cover such maintenance and adjustments, nor any services which may be required as a result of the purchaser’s failure to perform normal maintenance and adjustments to the purchased product.

Replacement of defective material shall be furnished without charge, delivered, installation not included. If Richards-Wilcox decides to service a warranted product at the purchaser’s place of business and determines that no defective material or improper workmanship exists, then the purchaser shall reimburse Richards-Wilcox Company for all expenses, including time and travel, incurred in providing the service.
